Raised in Mexico and being surrounded by architecture since my childhood, I always understood the responsibility of creating environments that make an impact on the society. I am very much aware of the importance buildings have in the community and each individual, specially by being intended as permanent additions to our world. It is for that reason that I am drawn to renovation and remodeling projects to make use of existing structures which did not quite achieved their intended potential. I believe that poorly-used or abandoned buildings should be revived into functional and harmonious spaces to benefit not only the individuals, but also the community's development.

I graduated with an Interior Design degree from The Art Institute of Austin. Throughout my studies, I participated in student associations and community work which made me eager to continue the interior design practice focused on cultural and socially responsible environments.
